Dear Linda

Just back from a fantastic week in the wunderful flat with a great view, airy balconys, a great pool and especially a prefect beach with nice rocks from which you can jump into the water. Begur is a cheerful little town (facinating shops) and the supermarket by Begur Camping is really nice with many spanish specialities. The whole family enjoyed the stay. An absolutely recommendable flat.

The Villa Jasmine is an excellent base for a holiday in South Spain. The villa is spacious and well laid out, and has excellent air conditioning which is essential in hot weather. We all enjoyed the pool especially our granddaughter. Organising the holiday was made easy by the excellent service obtained from Great Holiday Rentals Abroad Ltd.

'A delightful apartment, fully equipped to a high standard, incorporating everything you need. The communal areas and pool are immaculate, and the lift makes this first floor apartment no trouble. Right on the beach, with a great sea view from the balcony. There's a handy beachfront bar within 100 metres of the apartments. However there is no noise from the bar, in fact it is extremely peacful and quiet during the day, and most importantly at night. Its proximity to the airport makes it really handy, and although there are flights during the day, everything goes quiet during the evening and night. We had a wonderful holiday. The resort is perfect for children, and really relaxing place for adults to stay. We have reccommended it to all our friends and can't wait to return.'

I just wanted to thank you for organising this wonderful villa for us at El Valle. We were especially delighted that we opted for the larger Algabe type as with 5 boys the extra space was very much appreciated by all.....
Between the pool, golf, table tennis and a playstation which they brought along, we all had a blast. This Villa I can highly recommend as it has all the luxuries and amenities a family could want in a beautiful sunny climate.

We stayed at Aigua Blava for a week in June 2010, which was a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The apartment is in a great location with stunning sea views and close to many wonderful beaches and viillages. The amenties within the apartment were great and the swimming pool fabulous. The details provided on the website were very accurate and gave me a great deal of comfort that this would be a good destination. I was not disappointed. This apartment was the start of our holiday and proved to be a wonderful way to relax and allow our family to quickly get into the holiday mood. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Thank you very much. We very much enjoyed our time at your "very family friendly" villa. We had everything we needed for the kids and was great to not have to worry about taking a buggy or hiring a cot/taking toys etc. My eldest son also was hooked on the bear stories & traditional fairytale books that you had to the point where he wanted to take them home ( we need to find them now as he enjoyed the stories so much). The child gate is also a fantastic idea and allowed us to let the kids on the veranda without the worry they will venture into the pool. The villa was lovely and comfortable fit the 3 children & adults we had staying.
Finally the welcome pack was a complete life saver, we were delayed and arrived late and the supermarket was closed. So it was lovely to find such a large welcome pack & a personal thank you for the beer. It was thouroghly needed after the long travel day.
Thank you for everything and we had no problems at all over the holiday and would definately recommend it

Everything was ready and waiting for us when we arrived including the welcome pack. The whole family had a great time. We played some golf and tennis, did a little bit of touring around, but to be honest it was hard to leave the poolside in the villa!

July 2009 - Dalaman - Villa Frogs End

Hi Linda,

Thank you. The villa was well appointed and absolutely perfect with simple yet elegant décor. Ruth and Sezaye were on hand at all times. The swimming pool was clean and great especially given the beautiful, but hot Turkish summer.

Dalaman gives you a true sense of Turkey. It is peaceful, has very good restaurants and the locals are extremely friendly. It is by no means a resort, but it has a great supermarket and is ideally placed being just 15 minutes from the airport and 1.5 hours from Marmaris. We hired a car and drove to the picturesque marina at Gocek, the pretty town of Dalyan (perfect for picking up little gifts and to embark on the choice of excursions) and the very busy resort of Marmaris.
As I was just travelling with my 3 teenage daughters, I felt a little anxious prior to leaving, but my fears were soon quashed. We all felt extremely safe throughout our stay and I would definitley consider this again.

Thanks for your help regarding the booking of our holiday at El Valle. We have seen a really good service and a very quick feedback from your when we have needed it.

We were 3 families who traveled together, it was really nice to be able to have 3 villas as close to each other as you could offer.

We've had 10 wonderful days in Villa Fara. Villa Fara is very tasteful decorated and has a magnificent garden. A fantastic house that we would like to return to. Both children and adults loved the place.

This is the first time we have booeket a house through an not Danish company, so we were a little worried about how it would go. But there have certainly been no reason that.

I will give my best recommendations to you Linda - and also to Villa Fara, and I hope that we in the winter have the opportunity to contact you about a new booking..

June 2009 - Aigua Blava - Girona

The apartment was beautiful, and exceeded our expectations. The views are tremendous, and we spent most of our time on the upper balcony enjoying the sunshine (having two balconies was great for either tracking or escaping from the sun). The living room was comfortable (again with great views), and the supply of videos was a treat for evenings. We didn't venture far afield, but had good meals in Begur, Tamarui and Palafrugell, and the supermarket just at the top of the road, outside Begur, was really well stocked. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

As you said the villa was immaculate and we enjoyed the peace at the resort. We did think there would be more at El Valle, however I think with the way property market has gone the additional recreation areas appear to have been put on hold. Nevertheless the weather was fantastic and the peace and quiet was exactly what we needed.

One final point I wonder if you can confirm when we will receive our deposit back.

Thanks for your email. I was very busy today and didn’t found time to give a feed back earlier. We came home only sunday evening.
Our stay in Aigua Blava Apartment Dos Calas was just wonderful. A marvelous apartment well appointed, decorated with style.
We found plenty bed linen and towels.
We loved the big nice well kept garden and swimming pool. And last but not least a spectacular view from the terraces.
In addition we had 14 days of bright sun shine. We really had a good time there and enjoyed very much our holiday.

Many thanks for your email, i would just like to say how wonderful the apartment was, it was not only furnished and fitted to a very high standard but it also had things included that showed that care and consideration had gone into it, the coffee machine was a very nice touch as was the bread wine etc on arrival. The security were always friendly and made the place feel incredibly safe and secure.

As a holiday location the beach was very close indeed and "foody" places and supermarkets were a short distance away, i loved the fact that it was not over run with brits on tour and always had a nice atmosphere.

The villa was wonderful and we had a fantastic time at El Valle. The Villa was perfect for families and the safety fence around the pool was essential with 2 little 2 year olds running about. Also the villa is in an excellent position for days out e.g. Terra Natura with easy access to the Motorways and so close to the Airport.

A partly of 5 stayed at the fairway house at El Valle golf resort from 31 May - 7 June. The villa was spacious, comfortable and very well furnished with all mod cons available. Weather was great all week, good spot to relaxed by the pool and have a swim. Friendly bar/restaurant in the resort were we dined a few nights. Excellent location of golf enthusiasts and sun worshipers!

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa! Needed a relaxing holiday and certainly got it here. It was wonderful. The pool was a great size and at night, with the lights on it was beautiful. Took advantage of the Daily Mail DVD collection in the villa - long time since we've seen Brief Encounter!! Needed help from Penny and George on one occasion and they were great. We would certainly stay again if we come back to Murcia.

We had a very enjoyable holiday with the weather being much better than we had expected. The villa was very comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed sitting and relaxing by the pool (although the pool itself was still a bit on the cold side to make use of). However, we enjoyed the villa's tranquil position with good views looking towards the Sierra Espuna. We would certainly recommend it to others who are looking for a spacious, quiet and comfortable property who are either prepared to spend all of their time at the villa self-catering or who do not mind driving up to the Commercial Centre or into Puerto Mazarron for a meal.

My family and I have had a wonderful 2 week stay in an excellent villa in Tuscan Hills, Orlando, Florida. The villa booked through Great Holiday Rentals, www.sunandsnowinspain.com was fantastic and beyond our expectations. It was clean, unbelievably large with high specifications and everything was provided to make a great holiday.

I cannot praise high enough the service provided by Linda French, it was top rate. Linda made everything so simple and easy for us. As we had an early flight back, we were up at 4.00 a.m. and left at 5.00. Not wishing to disturb Victor at such an ungodly hour we left the keys under the front door mat, where we found them on our arrival. I trust that didn't present any problems?

Thank you for your email, we had a great holiday and everyone really enjoyed the stay at La Torre. The accommodation had all the home comforts and was very pleasant. The view from the terrace and balcony on to the 5th hole was fantastic and the location of the town houses are ideal (close to the main gate and the supermarket and away from the noisy bar and restaurant areas). It was easy to find it and to get there and conveniently located to get around.

We were most impressed and I will put a paragraph together for website in the next week or so.

We had a lovely holiday in your wonderful apartment and the Dolphin 2 complex was all that we had hoped for. Probably the best complex in the whole of the area, staffed by helpful and friendly people, especially Yilmas and "Isi", the night watchman

One thing I thought I would mention was the safe. We could not use it as we had no combination or instructions.

We are going to look at some of your other accomodation in the next few weeks for our 2009 holiday and would certainly recommend you to our friends and family.

'Villa Summer has everything you need for the perfect holiday. The setting is fantastic and the sunsets over the golf course at night were stunning... The villa is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped right down to the plastic plates, cups and cutlery which were perfect for our 5 year old son Aidan. The pool area even had inflatable's for us to use! We were particularly impressed with the water filter on the American fridge freezer which meant that we didn't have to buy any bottled water for use in the Villa. The outside area is fenced in and the pool also has safety fencing which gave us peace of mind with a young child and an extra feeling security. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday... Thank you Linda for your help and advice. We will be recommending your excellent services to our friends and family.

Had a great time at Cas las Copas. The villa is lovely and spacious enough for the six of us. Had some lovely barbecues in the evening by the pool with drinks on the balcony. The solarium was great for sunbathing and when the weather didn't allow us to sunbathe or swim we made use of the games room in the basement. All in all a great holiday.

Even though it's been a week since our return, we still can't forget the apartment in Begur ... it was stunning. The views were fabulous and nothing could beat eating breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. We found the apartment to be very well equipped and comfortable. On arriving to the apartment, we were taken by surprise with all the lovely food left for us and a welcoming bottle of champagne. After having travelled with two children nothing could have been more welcoming than this, the children tucked in and we had a glass of bubbly! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Begur. The only one thing we felt was a negative was the railing on the roof terrace. Although there are warnings about the danger of it being so low, I feel it is seriously a safety hazard and should be rectified. Thank you Linda for the personal service provided to make our holiday a memorable one.

Absolutely - no problem as below;

The service we received from Linda at GHRL was nothing short of first class, including having to phone Linda out of office hours for the house code number to get the key on arrival as we had left the associated paperwork at home, excellent service and nothing is a problem for Linda and her team at GHRL. We received our deposit cheque back within a week of returning, further indication of the service you will receive.

The apartement you rented to us at La Torre was lovel and we really felt at home with all the comforts you would expect at your own house, with 2 young kids this requirement was a ''must''. La Torre was peaceful and we rented side by side villa's with friends so we enjoyed each others villa swimming pools, the tight and tough par 68 golf course (twilight deal at 30 eur from 5pm was a a great deal, so good we played it twice) and for all you runners reading this there is a great loop round the resort that is about 5k but recommend that you run early morning given the heat!

Again our sincere thanks to Linda and GHRL, we'll use you again and have been recommeding you to all and sundry here back in rainy Aberdeen, we'll be back!

Just wanted to give you some feedback re the holiday.
The villa was absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the sea. The pool was superb and was a welcome sight at the end of a long day trip.
The location was good and the dolmus service just outside the complex made everything a breeze.
I would strongly recommend Fethiye and Villa Meltham. Because we are family who like to go somewhere different each year we probably won't go back to Fethiye, but if we were not so inclined, I would go back every year.

Dear Linda,

We had a wonderful time in the Granada area and truly enjoyed the use of the apartment. We viewed sites and otherwise experienced the city on two of our days there. One day we went up to the Alpujarra region, on another we visited the coast and swam in the Mediterranean, and on our last day we climbed Pico Valeta. After those more distant excursions it was especially nice to return to the comfort of the apartment and prepare a meal there.

I hope conditions were found to be satisfactory in the apartment after we left. I trust you will let us know if it is believed we caused a problem. The only little thing we found not working there was the latch on the bathroom door, which was stuck. It was a bit hot there at times, and a small fan would have been helpful. Other than that, my family found the place quite charming and admired the layout, construction, and the clever use of space. We loved looking out from the top of the stairs at night. We thought the fresh produce and the breads that we could buy in the community were of great quality.

So the Monachil apartment definitely played a role in a trip that has been a privilege and a fine experience for our family. Thank you.

Thank you for your email. We had a super time. The villa was just as you described, beautifully equipped and very quiet. The fridge and cupboards were very well equipped with all the essentials you would require when you arrived. Tina, the lady who looked after the villa was fantastic and came to visit us twice to make sure everything was ok. The infrastructure is great, with easy access to all requirements both leisure and necessity. We particularly enjoyed the town of Cartagena, a fantastic naval history and Murcia as a city had all the shopping requirements. San Javier also provided a mix of shops. Easy access to beaches at the Mar Menor as well as other beaches on the Mediterranean were all within 20mins drive.

Our 3rd year booking with you, and another fantastic holiday.
Villa Algorfa was everything we could have hoped for. A great location with wonderful views to sit and peruse whilst having our meals on the main balcony, (Morning coffee on the smaller balcony off the main bedroom with the added entertainment of the morning golfers).
The local Sunday Market was fantastic for bargains and a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Lots to see and do in Guardamar and Torrevieja which are both only a short drive away.

The Villa is well equipped (as always from your properties) and the key holders; Liz and John very friendly and helpful.

We are really looking forward to returning to Villa Algorfa next year, for a longer stay,
- only 345days to go !!!!

We had a great holiday thank you at villa Mendes. The villa itself is lovely & very spacious. We found it very child friendly & were thankful for the air-con, as it was very hot. The villa was very modern but also felt very homely, which is great for a family with a one year old (who can't go out to eat at night). The villa had everything we needed, the only thing I can recommed for future guests is that you have some sort of guestbook so that visitors can write down recommendations of places to visit & supermarkets etc. It took us a couple of days to find places & this would have been helpful.

We had a great time at Neuva Ribera Beach Resort which was perfectly situated for a family holiday. The area is lovely and the warm temperatures of the Mar Menor Sea was perfect. The description of the area and its attractions on your website was "spot on" and I would have no hesitation in choosing other resorts and appartments again. The only negative point I would have [and this does not reflect on you] is that the appartment should have provided portable sun beds for use around the pool area. Every other rental appt. had these supplied and for a lazy day beside the pool they are a necessity, maybe you could pass this on to the owner!!

Yes, we enjoyed our holiday very much and in were in fact pleasantly surprised by how quiet the area is.

It seems that Camposol gives the best of both worlds, as you have access to the British lifestyle if you want (without the archetypal lager louts), but are also close to traditional Spanish areas.

Puerto Mazarron is wonderful in the evening for eating out and some of the beaches further down the coast are breathtaking and excellent for swimming and fshing.

All in all, we had a very enjoyable time and will certainly be considering return very soon.

We had a fantastic two weeks at La Torre! What a wonderful resort - a town in itself. The Townhouse was of superb quality & had fantastic views over-looking the golf course. It was excellent for children, infact one of the most relaxing holidays we have had with the children. Everything is immaculate including the swimming pools and everyone was very friendly.

We would defiantly go back and most defiantly use your company again. I was most impressed at your quick responses from our initial booking enquiry to the return of the deposit at the end of the holiday.

Your advice was perfect - La Torre was ideal for us and the kids. The apartment was lovely and we'd definitely go back. I was really surprised by how peaceful the place was - my big reservation was that I thought that it would be really noisy and I couldn't have been more wrong. The beaches down at Calblanque were perfect too - such a surprise to find an undeveloped bit of Spanish coast.

We stayed in Villa Dearsley @ La Torre de Golf in July 2008 and I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have tried hotel holidays several times with our kids and although it is enjoyable now we have tried a villa holiday we will be slow to return to a hotel.

The flexibility of the villa is excellent when you have 2 young kids (ours are 4 and 18mths).

On arrival the villa itself was absolutely spotless, the villa is an impressive 3 bedroom villa with a generous garden and perfect size pool for our two kids. It is located in a quiet area of la torre golf resort and there is a road to the front that is very quiet.

I found it difficult to find fault with the accommodation, as I said it was spotlessly clean, very modern and spacious. However if I was to search for fault it was that the garden was not enclosed and there was a steep drop at the back of the pool. (this was advised to us prior to us booking and we took are chances). Luckily enough for us our eldest is sensible enough not to venture and our youngest is young enough not to be interested, next year might be a different situation though!

Villa Dearsley has changed the way our family will holiday and my first port of call will most definitely be Linda before we book anything. the communication was excellent even though she was on holiday when we booked we still got prompt responses to queries.

The villa Toscana is a lovely house and a great size. It was tastefully furnished and felt a bit special compared to other villas I have stayed in. I appreciated the pool area as you are not facing onto other villas.
I think the villa could have done with a DVD player to compliment the big TV in the lounge and the Play Station was difficult to work out as there was no games or memory card.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend to others.

The Villa was superb and very clean on our arrival. This is now our tenth year of villa holidays and my husband, who is a chef, said that it was the best equipped kitchen he had cooked in on holiday. The bedrooms were an excellent size as was the living area. There was also plenty of room at the pool for all the sunbeds to lie and we could even play a few games of french boules.

The pool must have a great filter system as it was always clean. It was a great size and depth for the kids and we had great fun with the inflatables that were left. In keeping with that spirit, we left a basketball and a crocodile, known as Mr Snappy, for the next family to enjoy

Penny was a wonderful guide. The beaches and restaurants she recommended were excellent and on hearing that we forgot to pack some DVD's let us borrow her Disney collection for the kids to watch in the hot afternoons.

We visited Murcia, Vera, Aquilas and Puerto De Mazzaron, all which were easy to get to and great places to visit. The beach at Aquilas was great with fantastic facilites that put our Beaches up here in Scotland to shame.

In summary we had a great week in lovely surroundings, visiting new and interesting places and living in a fantastic villa.

Just a quick note to say that we enjoyed our stay in Villa Elvins - La Torre Golf, Murcia.

The complex was very clean and well maintained and the villas extremely comfortable and had everything that you could want or need in them. I was particularly pleased to spot a dishwasher..!! We had no air conditioning in the bedrooms of our villa but found the fans that were supplied were ample as long as you kept the shutters closed during the day.

Once we found our way ( around the AP-7) we found that most places were within a 45 minute reach so not too bad for a day out. There are some lovely beaches and great water parks to visit.

We personally could have done with a little more do to in the evenings but understand that the complex is still in a developing state and that there will be a hotel finished in the next couple of years which will offer more amenities and add to the experience.

All in all we had a lovely time.

We had a lovely holiday and will not hesitate in contacting you in the future to arrange accommodation for us. The villa was beautifully furnished with everything in place you could possibly need. Arriving at 11.00 p.m. meant that the welcoming pack in the fridge was an absolute godsend. When we woke in the morning, we could not believe the beautiful views from the villa and the amazing swimming pool with the water feature. The golf fanatics on the holiday were able to indulge in a round of golf when friends visited for the day and the ladies were able to issue quiet words of encouragement when they arrived at the third tee which the villa overlooked.

You definitely need to hire a car here, but we became friendly with a local taxi driver who was happy to ferry us around in the evenings. To be honest the barbeque we had at the villa one evening was super and we thought, ‘Why go out?’

Liz was wonderful and really helpful. I had forgotten beach towels, but nothing was a problem to her: She arrived next morning with towels and lots of advice on where to go. She also did a housekeeping service when family arrived for the second week.

Beautifully maintained spacious villa with fantastic mountain views. Our party travelled in 2 separate groups and the layout of the villa suited perfectly. The resort is quiet at the moment, which suited us as our children were happy to play in the pool in the evenings, but you definitely need a car. The little supermarket is very well stocked and the whole area is spotlessly clean and very well looked after.

Had a lovely time, villa superb facilities , decorated to a high standard very clean and very comfortable.

Car essential to experience the best of the area. Murcia terra aqua /natura at most 15 mins away zoo and water park with lunch and loungers included in entrance fee our kids 7-10 years managed all rides/ flumes not at all busy no queues or hassle – great day out . Very central for Murcia, Cartagena ,Mar Menor, La Manga loads of beaches to choose from - a car journey and appreciate returning to the privacy and peace of this gorgeous villa. We flew into Alicante ( 50 mins)but if you fly into San Javier 10-15 mins and roads are well signed and an easy drive. Had a great time but suffering the post holiday blues big time – and the british weather!!

We were delighted with your apartment at Dolphin 2 residence in Altinkum, The welcome pack was much appreciated, it was great to have some essentials when you are tired after travelling.
The Apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, we really enjoyed the use of the large pool, Dolphin residence was quite quiet, no problem getting a sun lounger, the bar menu was great for snacks, and our children really enjoyed the free Pool table.
We booked a few trips and we were collected by our apartment each time,
We will definitely consider returning to Altinkum for another holiday,

Just a little note to let you know that all went smoothly at Villa Fortuna. The villa really did have everything you could need whilst on holiday. Travelling with two toddlers was hard work but the provision of child friendly items such as cot, high chair and stairgate was extremely well received. The latter meaning that I could relax knowing that the little one could'nt take her herself off down to the pool! The key holders were most helpful and available if you needed them and though the resort was huge it was always really quiet around the villa. All in all a lovely holiday break in a lovely villa.

Thank you for your call on Saturday, something you certain wouldn't get from a "big operator".

We had a fantastic holiday and managed to couple both a beach and golf holiday to perfection. The beach was delightful and although busy at times it was kept clean and neat with a wonderful atmosphere. We made friends with the owners of the English Beach Bar and they made us feel totally welcome and at home. David was a professional golfer until a couple of years ago and has just started playing again. He found Roda Golf a great venue to get back into the "swing" and met plenty of other like minded competent players. Everyone was bright and friendly, even the security guards got the hang of calling taxi's for us (as we failed totally to learn Spanish before leaving). The apartment was lovely, bright, airy and probably the nicest I have stayed in. On reflection the only thing I would have done differently would have been to hire a car, as we did end up using a lot of taxi's and doing a lot of walking. A great holiday, with painless booking and friendly staff here and in resort.

We left Spain Friday morning. I gave the keys to Snr. Victor Friday early Friday morning – he was still a little tired since the

Clock was about 7am. I think we delivered back the apartment in good shape.

We had some lovely three weeks in Aiguablava. Since 1997 we are coming in the area around Tamariu / Aiguablava and love

this area of Spain. The apartment was very fine, with a fine view to the ocean and to the mountains surrounding Aiguablava.

There was everything in the apartment which was of great importance to us. It was very easy to prepare dinner, there was

television and music and so on. There was also books about Catalunya/Costa Brave which was of great use for us. We think

the Baileys have a great apartment and loved to rent it for the three weeks.

The champagne we found when we arrived was great. Thank you.

We felt we had 10 beautiful days to relax unwind in a lovely enviroment.

The pool was beautiful and an absolute godsend for our autistic son infact he thoroughly enjoyed all of the holiday due to the privacy and peaceful setting.

The meals were lovely in the golf resort restaurant .Everything was handy and accesible.

We have stayed at many villa's in the past but Villa Fara was by far the very best we have ever stayed in. I have returned home wishing i was still there.

Just a few words about Villa Kam as requested:

Villa Kam is a lovely spacious villa, well equiped with lovely views of the golf course and mountains beyond. The pool is a really good size with plenty of room to lounge around. There are a few restaurants and bars on La Finca but these are about a 20 minute walk from the villa so you will need to use a car if you have kids. Nearby Guardamar beach is well worth a visit but as long as you're well stocked up you won't really want to leave the villa that much!

What a fantastic villa. Very spacious, even the walk in wardrobes to many of the bedrooms were a challenge for us to fill.

The master bedroom and ensuite is almost bigger than my lounge and kicthen put together!

The location was excellent, within 20 minutes drive to most of the parks, put us at a great advantage as we were going here every day. After a hard day out at the parks, what better to come back to than a peaceful villa, with just the forest at the back, and a fully enclosed and secure pool area so the children cant escape, that just left us time to enjoy the drinks.

The kids loved the ice machine, and this was an event several times a day for them, and us too:-

The general spaciousness was really great, big larder, which we could never fill, even large size washing machine and tumble drier, we did not even get to use the second lounge or the main dining area....

Would certainly not hesitate to recommend this villa and its location.

As a family of 5 adults and two children aged 2 and 3, Villa Summer was an ideal place to stay. The villa was well laid out and spacious enough for all of us. The attention to child safety with the fence around the pool was invaluable, as was the security throughout the villa. This allowed us to relax while the children played outside. They also enjoyed the toys kindly left for our use. Another child friendly feature was the plastic plates and cutlery.

We will be recommending Villa Summer to our friends with little ones (and without!) and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

we are writing to say what a fantastic apartment it is in Aigua Blava. It was clean bright and comfortable with fantastic views and gardens. The welcome food pack was much appreciated especially the chilled cava in the fridge.Lee and abbie{aged 5years) braved the pool in April it was a bit cold but would be fantastic later on in the season.
Our children loved the big gardens and basketball and football court. The games room was a bonus but needed a bit of a spring clean!
A beautiful part of Spain and we visited Girona and Barcelona along with the local area. The directions were extremley clear and the information provided on the surrounding area , restaurants and attractions was extensive.We would be happy to recommend this apartment and also your organisation which has been professional and thorough.

Mum and Dad also enjoyed their stay to,

"Our party of 8 (4 adults, 4 children) stayed in Villa Corgat, situated in the El Valle Golf Resort, during Easter week (March) 2008. The villa was excellent, being well equipped and having everything a family might need. We found the resort itself a little deserted, and amenities limited, with a temporary clubhouse which because of the resort layout, was not within easy walking distance. Having found our bearings, however, (with more than a little help from Tom & Connie next door), we soon found a couple of restaurants and a garage selling fresh bread and other essentials within a short drive. For a very reasonably priced meal we would recommend the restaurant in the adjacent golf resort (Mosa Trajectum) and the restaurant/butchers on the opposite side of the dual carriageway “Venta Los Tres Hermanos”. Being fairly remote, driving is a must. We didn’t necessarily find this an inconvenience, more of an incentive to get out and explore. The Costa Calida region appears to be less commercialised than the other spanish Costas and as such still retains its authenticity and charm. We didn’t see a single blackboard offering Egg & Chips or the local start times for Eastenders and Coronation Street! The beach onto the Mar Menor at Los Alcazares was excellent for children and on one occasion we were treated to an air display by the spanish equivalent of the Red Arrows. All in all, a very good introduction to the region, easily organised with a helpful and efficient service from Great Holiday Rentals.

Sorry for the delay in writing to thank you for returning our deposit so promptly and for the sterling service that you provided in helping us get away at such short notice.We have been so busy since our return.

We just wanted to say that we were absolutely enthralled with everything about our trip and wish we had taken longer as the Girona/Cost Brava area is without doubt one of the most beautiful areas of Spain! And the location of the apartment with it's fabulous views...well...it was a great find and truth to tell,one we are reluctant to share with anyone lest it be unavailable for us next time!!! We were immediately at home as it is so unusual to walk into a holiday home and find so much of the owners nice things left for us to read,view and enjoy.We found the place homely,relaxing and very comfortable even with two small children.We made full use of the well appointed kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The local area just took our breath away....a gorgeous little beach so close...lovely local walks with fantastic scenery....and though blissfully tranquil,just a short drive to so much in such beautiful countryside with Girona less than an hour away! There is much more we need to see and do....A fabulous destination and a heartbreak to leave....We shall return!!!!

Firstly I want to apologise for the delay in getting back to you, however i've been really busy and haven't even been keeping in touch with friends. I've just checked my e-mails going back as far as beginning of September and some people had even wished me a happy birthday and i wasn't aware of it!

Anyway, I would like to thank you for you Christmas card and I wish you also a Happy Christmas and hope the New Year is a good one.

With regards to the holidays in Murcia, the apartment was ideal. The beach a minute away and the swimming pool just on the grounds, so couldn't have asked for more, especially as all we wanted to do was have a restful holiday with the kids. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and sometimes it was difficult getting them out of the water. We stayed in the apartment the whole time and didn't even go out for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed our daily walks to the local supermarket in the morning/evening sun. The only thing i will probably do next time if we go for a 3 weeks holiday is book a car.

Overall nothing to complain about and Pam and her husband were great. Nice people.

Take care and I hope to be using you again in the future, maybe another country?!

Dear Linda,

We have just returned from our wonderful 2 weeks holiday at your Villa Fortuna. As you can imagine — it was just like going home to us, being the second time. I didn't want to leave! My how the roads have changed in a year! The journey from Alicante airport seemed much simpler this year. Even though we had an extremely early start on the Saturday we left, I managed to pop some bedding into the washing machine for Penny, to save her some time.

My sister enjoyed her 6 days with us, and will be telling her husband about the joys of villa rental no doubt.

We obviously dream about owning our own villa one day — but I fear it would be a case of 'selling up' here before that could happen.

We are looking forward to our next years holiday and we are considering the feasibility of trying to afford a 3rd week for myself and our son (Saturday to Saturday from Leeds Bradford Airport) — as my husband Ian only gets 2 weeks holiday during the summer, he could still come out Thursday to Thursday from our local airport.

We are just mulling this over at the moment. However it could probably be a prospect for 2009! - Maybe even 4 weeks!

We brought your DVD back with us, where would you like me to post it?

Hi Linda ,apologies for not being in touch before, but I have been working in Europe since returning from holiday. I would just like to thank you for all your help in organising what proved to be a great holiday. The villa was extremeley comfortable and well equipped and the basic foods and wine on arrival were much appreciated. Due to the very high temperatures, 40 degrees plus daily, the pool was a godsent. I should point out that a car is essential when staying at Casa Salsa simply because it is too far to walk to the shops, especially in the hot weather, although I understand there is a second shopping complex currently under construction about half a mile from the villa, so once this is complete the car will not be so important. Booking the holiday proved effortless thanks to your help and no doubt you will be hearing from me next year.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for a lovely time at your apartment in Dolphin 2.

One of the main reasons we decided not to book a package holiday was because we wanted to have a higher standard apartment. This was certainly the case with your apartment, even to the extent that the bed was more comfortable than my own at home!

Dolphin 2 is a little away from the main stretch of Altinkum, which suited our needs, because with having a teenage son who would have liked to go to clubs, they were a little too far away, so this prevented any arguments over him being allowed to go. There were however local bars and restaurants close to hand which we were happy for him to go to with friends that he made.

Whenever we wanted to go into the centre of Altinkum, we only had to ask, and we were given a free lift. This also included going to the local Aqua Park. All the restaurants are more than happy to collect and return you as well.

Just want to thank you for all your help organising everything for us for Villa Frogs End.

Had a fantastic time. Really was unsure of what to expect as it was our first time but I can honestly say I have never met nicer people anywhere in my life.

Ruth and her husband were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Really lovely couple.

We ended up hiring a car for a couple of days and i loved it. I drove from Dalaman to Marmaris for a shopping trip. Couldn't believe I done it - but definately wouldn't hesitate driving abroad again.

The pictures on the website don't do the villa justice. Not quite sure what we expected but were blown away when we walked through the door.

Every time we walked to the supermarket - the owner insisted in driving us back to the villa. The same with the restaurant.
I can honestly say that after our stay in Turkey, we will never go on a Package Holiday again. Have been on your website again this afternoon looking for something for next year. We definitely want to go back to Turkey but want to be closer to things. Do you have any rentals in Marmaris? I have attached a couple of pics of the kids. If you have anyone enquiring about the villa - you can certainly give them my e-mail address and they will get a glowing report from me and I have loads of pics of all around the villa and inside if they want to see more. The villas were both very clean and as described on your website. The key holders were both extremely helpful assisting us with finding them and we were delighted with the welcome pack of bread, milk and a bottle of wine to tide us over until the following day when the shops opened.

The resort was very quiet but exactly what we wanted and with a pool at the villa, a communal pool nearby as well as the country club, the children were happy and so were we. I would add that although a car is recommended, I would say it is essential to access any of the amenities.

Beautiful house, lovely and very convenient location. Disney theme parks 20-30 mins away - if you know America you will appreciate this is a bit like next door! Quiet area, we relaxed around the pool often - I think they call it being on holiday!

Publix within 5 minutes on US27 East then US192, Wall Mart on US 27 East. Lots and lots of restaurants all down US192. Shops everywhere! Would recommend this to anyone, when we go back next, we will try for this house again.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed staying in your apartment in Turkey. I can't thank you enough for your help and prompt e-mails, you really helped to smooth the organising of our holiday. The apartment was smashing, all we expected and more. The complex was very quiet and relaxing, around the pool in the day and lovely for meals in the evening. I can definitely say that the food and the friendly staff were the best in Altinkum. The apartment is definitely in a prime spot, 10 min. walk from all of the beaches and the promenade/restaurants, absolutely excellent. We can't remember when we enjoyed a holiday so much ! I was also very pleasantly surprised at how friendly the local Turkish people are, absolutely first class. It was our first visit to Al Tinkum/Turkey, definitely the first of many! So thanks again for a lovely holiday experience.

Linda, I am writing to thank you for helping me book two exquisite Villas and to let you know that our family had a wonderful time. Both Villas were first class. They were spacious, clean, had wonderful swimming pools and we did not want for anything. There were plenty of books, games, cds and of course the pool table so there was something for everyone. The design of the villas along with the atmospheric stone cladding and the outside lighting added to our enjoyment. The bedrooms were all large and with the foldable sofas forming double beds then it comfortably accommodated our party of 14. The sideboard in the main living room of Villa Lois contained many maps, telephone numbers and tour brochures so we were easily able to organise daytrips, tours and I must say the local Yosun Restaurant was out of this world. Gill and John - I would like to thank the Mannings for the hire of their apartment. The rooms are very spacious and you have everything you could possibly need. The apartment is in an ideal postion on the complex, on the ground floor with a lovely picturesque garden view, with the added advantage of being able to see the pool, which is great if you've got kids because you can then keep an eye on them. The pool area is superb, as there is plenty of room around the three pools (which the children loved). The restaurant and bar by the pool side were excellent, with staff to match. Well, unbelievably our 2 weeks ended on Sunday - don't know where the time went - but it really was just what the doctor had ordered - my family and I had a really great time.

The welcome pack was good - eggs, milk, bread, butter, cakes etc. Don't know if this had been left by Connie or Tom or the cleaner, but greatly appreciated as we had arrived late.

A large pool and tennis courts were only a short walk away. The complex is generally quiet and very secure. Excellent for golfers. We would recommend hiring a car to give you the freedom of exploring surrounding areas.

We have just spent a fantastic 2 weeks at the Villa Fortuna in Camposol. The villa itself was exactly like the pictures on the website. It was in immaculate condition and having a south-facing pool was brilliant. From when you got up in the morning till evening the sun was round the pool. Although the resort itself is massive sitting around the villa in the evening we found it to be very quiet and peaceful. This was the first time we have done a villa holiday and the 1st class, friendly service you provided from start to finish means that we wouldn't hesitate in doing it again. Penny and George (the keyholders) were brilliant and when we had a problem replacing the gas canister they were round straight away - a first-class service! We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending your company and would definitely book through you again. Many thanks once again for making our holiday a truly pleasurable one. Just wanted to write and say A BIG THANK YOU for making our holiday at VILLA FARRA such a wonderful experience. I really appreciate the time you took at every stage to help us. In fact from the very first enquiry and your immediate reply helped us to decide it was good to work with you! I also really appreciated that you allowed us to change our minds regarding our villa and respected our wish to change! I'm so glad we did Villa Farra is a "gem" of a Villa.

From the moment we arrived we were met by Christine and Debbie who kindly showed us where everything was - and telling us about the local area and what to visit! We really appreciated this as well as the Villa being spotlessly clean. Thank you. We had a wonderful peaceful holiday - we could not believe how quiet it was even though we were on a Golf Resort. Of course we had some workmen noise during part of the day - but nothing to really be concerned about. Alan and I are both early birds so we took the opportunity to walk the Golf course each morning.

We have some WONDERFUL pictures of spectacular sun-rises and sun-sets. We loved when the Pool filter came on - it only added to the ambience - along with the bird-song! We had an exciting morning when we discovered a SNAKE - yes a SNAKE shading in the shutters! Alan made a good attempt of winding it round the brush handle and putting it over the wall into the scrub-land. David our son "blossomed" throughout the week - especially having a Pool almost at his bedroom door! We've come back very happy and rested. We were even envious about the family following us and wished we could have stayed longer.

If I can offer one constructive criticism it would be regarding the welcome pack. Long-life Milk a tub of margarine and a loaf of bread was practical but not very sustaining, especially as the Resort was not fully functioning. I know earlier in the year you offered to buy in groceries for us and I completely forgot - so its as much our fault that we did not go shopping beforehand. However perhaps other clients would be happy to pay an extra 20 Euros on to the price to receive a real welcome pack of Wine, bread, cheese, milk, fruit, cereal etc - just to get us started. Thank you again for making our holiday to the Murcia area a very pleasurable experience. Please send our best regards to the owner and her very tasteful decor! We felt very much at home.

Just a short note to say what a wonderful time we had at the villa, it truely is beautiful. The villa had everything we could have asked for. My eldest son adored the pool, whilst my youngest stayed mainly in doors on the play station, thank goodness for play stations!!!

The surroundings are spectacular. We love the way the golf course has been built into the rock which made a fantastic walk, very picturesque. We had a walk around the show house and are considering buying one for ourselves. We may well be back in Murcia around October and will definitely contact you re accommodation again.

I would like to commend your service and the quality and value of accommodation offered in my recent holiday with my kids, sister and her daughter too.

From San Javier (Murcia Airport) the accommodation was a relatively straight forward 15 minute drive, using the map supplied in the information posted to me prior to my departure from the UK. On arrival at the Polaris World development, one quick phone call to the local agent (Debbie or Christine), who are based and live their too, and we were met at the entrance and very quickly shown to the villa.

Debbie showed us round this immaculate villa which is virtually new and is equipped with everything you need. Air conditioned and well furnished living area, private (and generously sized pool) 3 bedrooms and so many bathrooms which was perfect for me considering I had to share the week with four females! Debbie took some time to introduce the complex and the location of the various amenities on – site but also went on further to indicate on a map (supplied) which towns, beaches and cities were worth going to see – which we did go to as the week progressed.

Although a large resort the complex is extremely quiet and secure and this made lazy evenings next to the pool a real pleasure. Satellite TV was nice to have as well for catching up on the news and relaxing to watch a movie late on once the kids were finally in their beds.

Having mostly being used to package type holiday for med type holidays, it was a refreshing change to have this style of holiday with no pressure of time, and the flexibility of a late check-out being offered when bookings are such that it is possible.

I found the personal service you all provided 1st class, examples being, how the villa was held on a verbal basis by your company, giving me time to organize and book/confirm flights before finally committing; also within 24 hours of arriving back, Debbie / Christine had already been in touch with you with respect to some items that we had left behind and the willingness you showed by calling me and on offering the return of these – something that would never be expected on a typical holiday abroad. It also demonstrated how closely you work together with the in-country representatives.

I would have no hesitations in recommending Great Holiday Rentals Ltd to friends and family and it is worthy noting that with this style/concept of holiday I think I saved a few hundred pounds over the (alternative budget only!) type package deals that were available to me at the time.

Dear Linda, I don't know where to begin! We had such an amazing time in Spain - and your apartment was at the the heart of it. It was perfect for our family. Your directions were perfect. Due to weather and flight cancellations we finally arrived in Monachil at 1 a.m. the first day! Driving from Malaga in the night - more than a little exhausted- we did not get lost at all. The pictures - especially of the new construction - really helped. The town of Monachil was delightful and a wonderful way to get off the beaten tourist track and actually interact with locals in a more natural way. The town was a perfect size for exploring on foot and the proximity of the shops made grocery shopping a snap. The bakery was awesome - we made several trips there. Getting in and out of Granada was effortless. The 181 bus was a easy and cabs were inexpensive and plentiful. We did have a rental car that required some creativity for parking - but we only used for trips to Sevilla and Malaga and getting to and from the airport. The apartment is a perfect base for exploring southern Spain. We took an overnight trip to Sevilla and then went on a day trip via ferry to Morocco. It was a lot to do in less than 48 hours. When we returned that night to the apartment, my husband sat down on the sofa and said "It's good to be home." That is exactly how it felt. The codes for the main door and the safe worked well. We never took the keys out with us - just left them in the box so we did not need to worry about losing them. We never did meet Maria. We hope the apartment was left in an agreeable condition. We had a wonderful time. The villa is beautiful. We couldn't swim because water temperature wasn't warm enough but we went to Oludeniz, Kayakoy. We went to Fethiye almost every day for 1 Lira. We took a long walk at the Calis area.

Everything went great. Thanks again. We might go there next year again. But this time around June or July

We had a fantastic long weekend at these two apartments just outside Granada. There were nine of us in total, and it was great that there was enough space in the upstairs apartment for us all to get together before going out for the evenings. The roof terrace was a particular hit, and the views were spectacular. We found a couple of good places to eat in the village, and also found the local supermarket to have everything we needed for basic supplies. Getting into and out of Granada was no problem – we generally caught the bus down into the city, which took about 20 minutes but gave us chance to see a bit more of the surrounding area, and then got taxis back. There was also an incredibly friendly feeling in the village and we felt very welcome everywhere we went. We would particularly recommend Ron de Café, where they went out of their way to look after us when we arrived very late on the first night. Even though they don’t normally do food, they managed to rustle us up some fantastic sandwiches and tortilla after we discovered that all the restaurants were already closed. We were very sad to leave especially as the kids love the pools and the kids channel on tv. Also one of your towels got packed by mistake, which I have also returned. Unfortunately one of your tall glasses got broken, but I did replace it with a similar one but not identical. Hi Linda (French Apartment - Dolphin 1 - April 2006) I would just like to say thanks for everything, you was very helpful when I first queried about the apartment saying that work was being carried out in the pool, (which didn't make any difference to us). Any questions I Emailed and asked, you Emailed me straight back with the answers (sometimes within minutes) nothing was too much trouble. On arrival we found the apartment spotless, there was milk, juice and water in the fridge (thank you) so we didn't have to go straight to the shop before we could have a drink. (I did of course make sure these were put back and left for the next customers) fresh towels were laid on the beds and in the bathroom. The apartment is brilliant and very comfortable with all the Ikea furniture, having a fridge freezer and oven was brilliant because my vegetarian daughter doesn't like very much Turkish food so it meant I could go to Gima (supermarket) and keep some frozen food in. you have thought of everything. The washing machine, the candles, the wine glasses everything was just so perfect, just like home from home. If we need a place to stay in Altinkum again you will definitely be hearing from me. August 2006 - Altinkum - Apartment Manning

Carl Pope - I would just like to tell you what a great holiday I had in Turkey. The Manning apartment is superb, everything we needed was catered for, just felt like a real "home from home". The location is great, within easy walking distance of the best beach in the area. I loved relaxing by the pool, with a bar and restaurant next to me. Altinkum itself is an excellent resort, had a great time in all the bars. All in all, the best holiday I have had in years. Thank you so much for letting us rent your wonderful place.

Dear Linda Returned home on Wednesday 18th and have taken a couple of days to get the feet back on the ground! We had a great time in Granada and Monachil, The weather was not so kind and it poured rain the morning we were at the Alhambra. However, still thought this was one of the highlights of our trip. The apartment worked really well for us and we particularly enjoyed the extra space and the opportunity to do some cooking for ourselves. The information, directions and advice you offered was also a real plus. Unfortunately, the weather meant we did not drive up to the snow - although our eldest pushed for a quick visit! However, the Alhambra, walking around the Albaycin and walking to Monachil (the little village), as well as some shopping and a few coffees up the street (many thanks for your directions) managed to fill in our days very easily. Maria and I had an interesting time attempting to converse with each other!!!!! Despite the language barriers, I thought she was delightful and with my phrase book and much miming, we managed to get our messages across. She was very welcoming and her warm and friendly nature was a great introduction. Please let her know that we really appreciated her patience with our poor Spanish and her friendliness. Thanks for letting us stay in your apartment and particularly for all your directions and advice - it was really appreciated. Everything was fine thank you. The apartment was very cosy and comfortable. We found it from your directions OK but there might be an extra pedestrian crossing. The Italian restaurant you recommended was excellent and we visited 4 times and it would have been 5 but unfortunately it was closed on our last night. We had snow but also lots of warm sunshine which was great for the climbing. Thanks again for the use of your apartment. Regards John

We have just spent a fantastic 2 weeks at the Villa Fortuna in Camposol. The villa itself was exactly like the pictures on the website. It was in immaculate condition and having a south-facing pool was brilliant. From when you got up in the morning till evening the sun was round the pool. Although the resort itself is massive sitting around the villa in the evening we found it to be very quiet and peaceful. This was the first time we have done a villa holiday and the 1st class, friendly service you provided from start to finish means that we wouldn't hesitate in doing it again. Penny and George (the keyholders) were brilliant and when we had a problem replacing the gas canister they were round straight away - a first-class service! We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending your company and would definitely book through you again. Many thanks once again for making our holiday a truly pleasurable one. Thanks for calling us to book this apartment it would have been a missed opportunity
The apartment and location were fantastic,we have been to the area before but only for a short two night stay and have wanted to come back for sometime.We have stayed in a number of places in different parts of the world where usually the apartment is bear and lacked soul but this is a very much loved home with views to die for.We went to the supermarket before we arrived to stock up on the essentials "Dont do it " checkout the Welcome Pack,the fridge and cupboards have all you need to start your holiday off without the need to buy items like washing up liquid or more importantly the six cans of nice cold beers.The information pack and the many books on the area where really helpful to plan our trips,plus the recommendations of where to eat were very good. Try Restuarant Lallagosta in the village of Llafranc(turn right as you enter the village then walk to the far end of the promenade) Menu of the day Euros 16 per person three courses bread and wine of your choice,great food .

Back to the apartment it's spacious and well appointed the best for me were the nice touches handcream and there was suntan lotion and after sun although the weather was not great during our stay but if you had forgotten it's all in the cupboard. We would highly recommend Dos Calas it's a total experience
